Rules &
Policies

Welcome to DREAMLAND! We’re thrilled to have you and your little ones enjoy our indoor playground. To ensure a safe, fun, and smooth experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines and information about our services, health and safety policies, and facility rules.

  • How Should I Dress My Child?
Your child should arrive in comfortable clothing to allow them to be actively involved in all program activities. Outdoor clothing is not needed, as our program is indoors only. Jewelry, scarves, or any loose clothing should be avoided as they can get caught in equipment.
  • Can My Potty-Training Child Go Into Dreamland?
Children should be potty trained. We recommend all parents put a pull-up on their child prior to entering Dreamland.
  • What Do I Need To Bring With My Child At Drop & Shop?
Please send the following: non-slip socks (can be purchased at Dreamland), water bottle, and any medications the child may need. We ask that any toys are left at home or with the child’s guardian
  • Why is Dreamland Temporarily Closed?
At Dreamland, safety is our top priority. Occasionally, we may need to temporarily close or limit entry due to one of the following reasons: Cleaning & Maintenance: Kids can be unpredictable, and accidents happen! When an unexpected incident creates a hazard, we may close temporarily for thorough cleaning. Birthday Parties: Dreamland also hosts birthday parties, which may affect general availability. Our party packages reserve either 10 or 20 spots, leaving only a few additional spots open for other customers. On occasion, if extra guests arrive beyond the reserved count, we may reach full capacity sooner than expected. Full Capacity: To ensure safety in case of an emergency, we have a strict capacity limit of 80 people total. Once we reach this limit, we cannot admit more guests until others leave. This protocol helps us keep everyone safe and able to evacuate quickly if needed. Dreamland operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do not accept reservations. This ensures fair access to all our guests—come early to secure your spot for playtime fun!
  • Can I Bring A Snack For My Child?
We recommend giving your child a snack before entering Dreamland. Food will not be allowed on playground equipment.
  • Can I Have Different Food?
No, Dreamland has a partnership with Local Pizza Mayfair Mall, so the only food provided is pizza. However, customers are welcome to bring outside food if they prefer.
  • Can I Have A Different Setup (balloons, colors, themes)?
No. Our management has meticulously crafted Dreamland’s party setup/decoration to align with our business operations and customer traffic.
  • Can I Add More Playtime To My Party?
No. Our management has carefully designed Dreamland’s party packages to align with our business operations.
  • How Can I Cancel My Party?
Bookings cancelled 2 weeks (14 business days) prior to the party date will receive a full refund on the deposit. Bookings cancelled within one week of the party date are not eligible for a refund on the initial deposit. However, parties may be rescheduled within a 1-year period.
  • Can I Bring Extra Kids?
Yes, extra kids cost $27 each, unless they are under 1 year old.
  • If I Don’t Want Pizza, Does It Change The Price?
No, prices are fixed. Our management team has carefully designed Dreamland’s party packages to align with our business operations.
  • Do You Close The Venue For My Party?
No, Dreamland will remain open to the public. However, Drop & Shop availability may be limited as our staff will prioritize attending to party guests.

Play Time:

Our playground is designed for children ages 0-10 years. Children under 3 years old are welcome, but must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or caregiver at all times. To ensure a fair experience for all guests, playtime is available in 1-hour or 2-hour sessions, with a maximum of 2 hours per visit.

Behavioral Guidelines:

At Dreamland, we prioritize a safe and respectful environment. We encourage children to use the equipment as intended and engage in positive, respectful play. Our staff will guide children using positive strategies to foster self-regulation and help them interact appropriately with others.

The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Hitting, spanking, or any form of corporal punishment

  • Restricting a child unless they pose a risk to themselves or others

  • Bullying behaviors, such as name-calling or exclusion

  • Any aggressive or harmful behavior towards others

Strike Policy:
We have a 3-strike policy for aggressive or harmful behavior. If a child receives 3 strikes, their account will be suspended. Parents will be notified immediately.

Health & Safety:

Dreamland is a nut-free facility. We ask that only water be brought into the play area. Please bring a water bottle for your child to stay hydrated.

Food & Drink Policy:

For safety and cleanliness, no food or drink, except for water in a closed bottle, is allowed in the play area. We ask that you enjoy snacks or meals outside the play area.

Illness Policy:

To prevent the spread of illness, children showing symptoms must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours, without the use of medication. Symptoms include, but are not limited to:

  • Unexplained pain, sore throat, runny nose, cough, and fever

  • Difficulty breathing or persistent cough

  • Infected skin or eyes, rashes, or diarrhea

  • Any known contagious diseases, such as Hand Foot Mouth Disease, Pink Eye, or head lice

If your child shows symptoms during their visit, please pick them up promptly to ensure the safety of others.

Head Lice Procedure:

We ask all parents to check their child's hair daily. If head lice are found outside the facility, please notify us immediately. If discovered during a visit, we will contact you to pick up your child. After treatment, children can return. We will also notify other parents so they can take precautions.

Safe Release of Children Policy:

For security, we provide wristbands for both parents and children at check-in. Parents must show the matching wristband at pick-up. If there are custody restrictions, we will require authorization from the custodial parent before releasing the child to anyone else.

Incident Policy

We are committed to a safe, nurturing environment. No child will be subjected to harm or aggression. Our staff is trained to manage behavioral issues calmly and effectively. Children will not be separated from others unless under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Emergency & Disaster Plan

Dreamland is prepared for emergencies, including fire, earthquake, or other disasters. Our staff is trained in emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid. Emergency exits are clearly marked, and we will notify parents promptly in the event of an emergency.

Power Outage & Snow Policies:

In case of power outages or extreme weather, we may close for safety. We will notify parents via social media if closure is necessary. If the power is out for over 2 hours, we may ask parents to pick up children early.

Facility Use & Pricing:

  • Parents & Me Program: 2 hours of play for $19 (includes one child and one adult, Monday-Friday). Additional parents can join for $5.

  • Drop-N-Shop Program: 1 hour for $27 or 2 hours for $47 (Saturday and Sunday). Extra parents can join for $5.

  • Washroom Access: Washrooms are not available inside for Parents & Me. Staff can guide you to the nearest public restroom. Parents are welcome to leave and return within the 2-hour playtime to use the restroom.

Cleaning Protocol:

Dreamland prioritizes cleanliness. Our cleaning procedures include daily sanitization of floors, surfaces, and toys using eco-friendly products. A professional cleaning service conducts a deep cleaning every week. Our protocols ensure a hygienic and safe environment for all guests.

Temporary Playground Closure Policy:

Dreamland may close temporarily for the following reasons:

  • Full Capacity: We maintain a strict capacity of 25 children or 50 people total for safety. Once this limit is reached, we cannot admit more guests until others leave.

  • Cleaning & Maintenance: If an accident occurs or after busy days, we may temporarily close for cleaning.

  • Birthday Parties: We reserve 10-20 spots for birthday parties, and additional guests may fill up the remaining capacity quickly.

If necessary, the playground may be closed for safety reasons. Please check for availability before your visit.

Staffing Policy

Some programs, such as Drop & Shop, may be affected by staffing levels. We maintain a staff-to-child ratio of 1:8. Please review our waiver and program details to ensure you understand the services we offer.
